Anyone have pics of their v-belt set up.

Looking for pics of different ways to run v-belts in order to run A/C, alternator, and power steering on my 67. I have a vortec 350 with altetnator on passenger side, and need to move it to drivers side and add the triple groove crank pulley. Just wanted to see what it is going to look like. Or if yall had advice on which way to go. Any and all info will be helpful, thanks

Re: Anyone have pics of their v-belt set up.

It's not original if it's on your pass side, what exhaust manifolds are you running? What heads too? 67 didn't have holes for mounts in the heads.. if you are running something newer then you could run a serpentine setup or a triple groove water pump pulley.. Your best bet is to pull EVERYTHING off the same engine at the junkyard or another engine. Pulley alignment is a pain in the butt since there are dozens of combinations that you can have.

THis is my 68 327.. triple water pump (short), double crank pulley with a single insert extension.. Mine had a smog pump option for the pass side but you could modify that for an AC comp too..

Re: Anyone have pics of their v-belt set up.

Save urself the aggrevation of finding the stuff and get the entire serp setup and install it..Since you already have the vortec. Plus the serp parts are plentyfull at the yards and cleaner running in the long run. I've done both and finding all the short brackets, or long with all the correct stuff is a pain.

I agree, didn't notice that you have a vortech... go with a factory serp setup.
