old style oil filler

ok, I like the valve covers with out holes in them. I've got the two barrell intake that allows me to fill in the front. What would be a good, old style intake if I wanted to put on a 4 bbl?

Paid for it with $$ made from recycling bottles and cans. Oregon pays .05 per can/bottle. Now doing restification with recycled parts purchased with recycling $$.

If I'm not mistaken the Performer has the boss cast on it so you can drill or bore the hole to accept the filler tube.I think Weiands do also,or you could go to a swap meet and find some Offys and Holleys with the hole already there.HF

Another thought would be to use a stock one. It will work fine on a stock 283. There are plenty of older four barrel manifolds with oil filler tube on them, should be cheap. Just depends on what you want.

I have a 4 jet intake off a 57 283, but it uses the really small square bore old school 4 jet rochester carb. I looked all around my area for a spread bore intake for my truck with the filler tube, no luck whatsoever, so I put the valve covers back on with the holes in them until I can get enough money together to get an aftermarket intake, but I also need of figure a way for the PCV valve, I refuse to cut my purdy corvette alluminum valve covers.
