Identify trans and tranfer case
I want to start looking for transmission and tranfer case for my jimmy don't like driving stick in town I've heard the 350/205 is a good combonation and would like to know how to Identify them. and what is stock in the 73-87 blazer

most 73 on up trucks with a turbo 350 had full time transfer cases, i had a 73 short 4x4 with a 350/205 combo so i know they made at least a few with 205s behind them.
as for identifieing one, the outside of the 205 will look identical to yours. the difference is in the adapter and input shaft--input shaft on an automatic is fine splined and a manual is coarse splined.
