Cool, i will look it up!
Does anyone think running a 8" spring in the front and leaivng the 6 in lift and adding a 2 " block would work? |

Re: What kind of set up is this?
bloc ONLY the rear... period...
so yes you can do a front lift with new parts and do a 2in in the rear OR do an add a leaf in the rear with a "wedge" block where it tilts your differential to more comfortably accommodate the driveshaft (saves time and money on driveshaft lengthening.. you might also want to invest in a t-case drop 1 or two inch (they are cheap. basically long bolts with a spacer) and that'll be it.. but if you plan on running anything bigger then a 35in tire you'll want to upgrade your axles.. be WARNED THIS BECOMES AND ADDICTION he he he and good luck...

Ok dont kill me when i say this... But.. Outside of snowyday's i dont really intend to take the truck off-road.. Being honest i just am trading the lowered truck look for the lifted... i intend to sink some money into it but stricktly for my peace of mind.. Ive busted enough stuff trying to show off.. on that note, do the diffs need upgrading to run 36's 37's or 38's when all im doing is cruizing? Thanks guys |

Re: What kind of set up is this?
yeap....
when i went up to 38's a corp ten did not last long.... so now i a have a 14 bolt.. shot a few u joints out here and there... but ... honestly for street driving why would you neecd anything more then 35's... 37;s (what i have now) were a little under two grand... soo... yeah... you can save some serious money just going down two inches in size.. and not have to 1/ upgade axles 2/ cut fenders 3/ ugrade everything in it's path.. In my opinion it really sucks somedays trying to navagate my truck in town... but i "use" it for what it's built to do.. if it was just a cruiser.. then i would not have gone this far... good luck
