Bought a nice seat from 72ironmike

I recently bought a very nice saddle color seat from 72ironmike, then before I even got it picked up I sold the truck I was going to use it in. So I have this nice seat taking up space in my shop and figured I better find something to put it in..well checked out a few trucks up in Iowa over the weekend and ended up bringing this home..pretty nice old truck but the interior needs a complete makeover!
She made the 165 mile trip home with no problems and is probably one of the tightest old trucks I've had...cruised down the highway at 75 and you could even take your hand off the wheel and she would stay straight.
Has some pretty nice options, tach, tilt and working A/C, even the emergency brake works..that's unusual for most of the trucks I get.

Oh my, that's a beautiful truck you have there! Lets see what the interior looks like. What's the powerplant?

Re: Bought a nice seat from 72ironmike

What kind of drivetrain? Any rust, or was it a recent project for someone?

And the most important question, what are your plans (aside from saddle interior)?

Re: Bought a nice seat from 72ironmike

Nate, its an older restoration,,its had the cab supports replaced but everything else looks pretty solid. All new bumpers, upper and lower moulding, tailgate band and grille. Its a 71 with a 350 and th350 auto, NP-205. Plans are to Line-x the bed and lower 4" of the truck for rock protection, It will be a daily driver.

Alright, I might sound like a jerk, but is it really fair that you can't even take apicture of a B.A. truck without having at least one or three other great trucks in the photo.... Ummm, nice truck!!

Rob, did it have Red interior? That is the combo I want to do on my next truck down the road. Nice Score, I am wondering if you could pm what you had to pay for a nice truck like that. Trevor

haha, I'll take em Rob! (j/k) That would be perfect for a Rat Rod themed truck. Are those the high back seats out of the newer K/5 blazers 77 or so and up with a buddy bucket center?
