Bglad's Build Thread
So I began tearing down my 70 LWB BB about a year ago, only to put things on hold when I got laid off. But I have beat the odds and begun working on it again! I'm doing a total nut and bolt on it. Currently I am in the process of working on the cab, have it all stripped, and mud is done, and working on the floors, and rockers next... And Don't worry I'll be posting pics a little later today... (promise) I know you guys like pictures

Re: Bglad's Build Thread
Just dropped the hood, cowl panel, fenders and doors off at the blasters, so looks like I'll be replacing floors in the mean time

Re: Bglad's Build Thread
The floors aren't too bad, I'm replacing both rockers, outer cab extensions on both sides, and the driver front floor is rotted through in a couple places, so not the whole floor just pieces. BTW I bought too much when I ordered my parts, and have an extra passenger front floor pan... cheap... And as for the frame, yeah that's getting stripped, blasted and powder coated.

Re: Bglad's Build Thread
Thanks! It may be a while before the truck hits the road again, but I'm making sure to take my time, and no short cuts. Plus I'm doing all the work myself. Getting the parts blasted is the first thing anyone else has done too it, other than having a couple people to help pull the cab, and bed

Re: Bglad's Build Thread
Just picked up my parts from the blasters today! Glad I had it done too, going to save me some sanding, and helped expose some more of the rust I might have missed.

Passengers is all done now, replaced the driver corner cab as well. I'm also in the process of flushing the rocker to corner seam too.

Re: Bglad's Build Thread
Well brought the bad in had it blasted. Primed everything, so next week I'm going to start the body work on the Sides, and bed floor. Not too bad looking so hopefully they dont take too long. Need to order a new Front panel for the bed any recommendations as far as best quality??
