Steering Column question?

Hi All,

I did not know where to drop this question, so I'll start here.

Over the years I have always been told that there are no replacment turn signals cancel cams reporduced for the GMC steering columns. I have a 4 speed Hydro-Matic this is the same setup that Chevy trucks could be ordered with as the optional transmission.

For those who don't know a Hydramatic drive indicator is as follows:
N, 1-4, 1-3, 1-2, R. (when the engine is OFF you drop the shifter in reverse and a park cam drops into place to lock the transmission, so she stays parked)

It almost seems impossible to me that there is a major design differance betwen the Chevy column and the GMC column. Does anybody is the group have a Chevy Truck with the Hydramatic? If so do you know of any replacment parts for the turn signals?

They work, but do not cancel, I got to manual cancel like a lot of others.

Thanks
Jake
