disc brake swap
I am sure it has been discussed a millon times but, will a 78 front crossmember and susp. fit my 69 long bed?

yes it will, my understanding is that there will be a couple holes that need drilled oversized,but pretty much a bolt in. I cant say just where,as I still have the stock crossmember under the 69,with 75 1/2 ton spindles,& 71 lower arms. Good luck.........69

and when you do this, then retain use of the 78 calipers and go get 78 brake hoses and route them through the frame rails in front of the engine cradle, there are oval shaped holes already there that wil work fine
