Re: best replacment door panels?
Do you mean door skins or complete doors?

Re: best replacment door panels?
I think he mean door panels, as in interior.
I haven't bought any for a square body yet, so I can't help you for this era truck. Are you looking for stock-type replacements, or custom?

Re: best replacment door panels?
I don't know of anyone that makes really good "stock" replacement panels. If your really picky about how they look, your best bet is find an OEM set that are in decent condition, and dye them to match.

Re: best replacment door panels?
I had them covered and the upholster used staples and the panels took a little timing for the pull lock, door handle opening, wind crank and around the door area and attaches with heavy duty Velcro like stuff and the panels come with door cups but I didn't like how they looked

Re: best replacment door panels?
Coverlay is the best aftermarket version, but they are all for standard trim (nothing fancy)
Palco is flimsy crap in comparison the molds are not that good. I personally won't use them. IF you have trim and you want it to look good, find used door panels and refurb them.

Re: best replacment door panels?
about refurbing the old panels mine are kind of dried out but i think that i can either a)have them covered with vinyl, or b)sand them down and paint them but they will not have the same finish(grain) as the rest of the interior. i would like to see some pics of guys door panels see what custom touches they have done to them.
