WTB: tires

i need a set of used.. fairly decent tread.. tire size 31x10.50r15.. i would like at least two tires.. im doing a drag race that a car show is sponsering and i dont want to burn up my tires doing burnouts so i would like to get some cheapys

Try the boneyard. u-pull-it type place
I get 'good' tires there all the time, usually have half their life left on them or more.
I still don't understand- $15 for loose tire, $20 for tire on steel wheel, $25 for tire on alloy wheel.
Pop the tire off and bring the wheel back telling them backspacing doesn't fit etc..., they'll give ya $15 back for the steely and $20 for an alloy, so you end up with the tire for $5.
of course you'd need to have a tire machine(or a buddy who does)
