RV experienced guys please help.

Ok so We just picked up our first RV. Its a P30 Chevy / rockwood.
Just pluged in power to it and tried everything out. everything seamed to be working except the ac/ heaters.
I was trying to get the generator to fire up and was messing with the ignition (which was hot wired cause the seller lost the keys),and I guess I bridged the wrong wires, it was very obvious when the wire burned my finger. After that half of the electrical system wouldnt work. It was a pink wire to the back of the plug in that I arced on the positive led.
Any help with this is appreciated cause my laddy is pissed!

Couldnt figure out a better place to ask about this but this is where you guys know me, so what5 the heck.
thanks guys

A big fat pink wire, like #12?You may have fried a primary from the front(source).I had a slide-in and had to rewire mine.It fried my ignition circuit, too.I just ran a new wire from the fuse box to the plug.

Re: RV experienced guys please help.

Getting a wiring diagram may be a hit or miss thing.

If I were you I would go to an RV site and ask a question there.

Also you might Google "Rockwood".

The wiring diagram for the engine and chassis may be obtained thru Chevy Dealer
