Almost Roadworthy...

Hey everybody! I just want to say what a great site this is. I found it a couple of months ago, and its been a wealth of information and advice. And Thanks to those that answered some of my stupid questions. Im only 21 and have never really done any serious rebuild, so this community really helped through some headscratchers. Im dissaponted i didnt find myself here sooner to show most of my progress. But better late than never. Plus i feel some of you guys really helped bring this all together. Heres a couple of pics after my new paint. I did it in my garage by myself and its my first time so i didnt expect it to look perfect. Ill take some more pictures and let you all know some more details the next day i can get to work o it and put it all back together. Thanks again for the help!

Re: Almost Roadworthy...

thanks for the responses! Ya I did all the body work, engine swap, lift, paint, etc. myself in my garage. Wife was Not happy.. I dropped a mild 350 from a local engine shop. Cool thing about that was the shop included a five year warranty! Turbo 400 for the tranny and stock axles for now. I went with the Tuff country 6" lift and a 1" body lift. Right now the back sits about an inch lower than the front. I like how it looks like that for some reason. I'm driving it back to CA tomorrow and will post some more pics including some before shots.( not pretty) any ways thanks again.

Re: Almost Roadworthy...

Nice truck! Are those 37" tires? If so how is the fitment? I am planning on running 37" tires with a 6" lift (no body lift) and was hoping they would fit.
