I don't see it anymore on here, but wasn't there a thread about polishing chrome bumpers, mirrors, beauty rings etc??....I think it was Flitz, but what else are you using???

Well,

I went out and bought some Mothers Chrome Polish....applied to my bumpers, mirrors, and door handles.....
It's very easy to use....after washing the the areas you want to apply, apply it, wait for it to dry to a haze, then wipe off....make sure you use microfiber/ terry cloth towels.....

Were you pleased with the product Geoff, or will you be looking for another one?

Did you have any fine scratches in your bumpers, mirrors,.... and if so, did it remove them?

Nate,

These were new bumpers that had never been really cleaned or polished...so no noticeable issue on them before/ after I washed them then polished.....
The polish is very runny, so a little bit goes a long way....I am pleased with it, but I really haven't tried anything else....
I do plan on getting some flitz, so I'll be able to better evaluate after that.....

I have always used never dull then hit it with mothers mag and alum it should shine up nice.

i tryed turtule wax crome, and it worked very well. it even takes off surface rust! just put it on, and rub it in with 0000 steel wool, wait till it hazes then wipe it off. i tryed it on my triple crome lake pipes and it removed the rust, and shined the pipes as well. plus it dont cost very much! just a suggestion. wish we could clean em up now,and show off our rides, but winter is here, whats a dog to do?

for the past few moths i've been using "BLUE MAGIC" chrome polish on my bikes its thinner consistency than mothers and buffs out easier and leaves less residue than mothers its also seems more gentile on painted areas than the mothers was//generally i find it easier to use and maintain the chrome with blue magic than mothers but the mothers did better on bringing bad stuff back to life

How about coke and a ball of aluminum foil, works great, even saw it on Mythbusters...

i have used countless products from car shows even mothers, never dull ect. but blue magic is the best i have found it worked the best for my aluminum slots bumpers, grill, door handles it. i have been using it for 3 yrs now and have never been dissapointed
