Please,I need help!! GMC Pauls Auto Transmission Crossmember

Can someone please help me out and tell me which holes in the frame to mount my gmc pauls automatic transmission crossmember to. I have emailed GMC Pauls,but they won't respond. I wish they had a phone number I could call. They could probably answer my question in about a second. Do I have this thing in wrong,backward,or upside down?? There are a few different holes in the frame. I am putting a 327 v8 hooked to a 700r4 trans. Measurments and or any other info would be greatly appreciated to. Is this way right?? Photos enclosed. from what it looks like, the mounting pad for the transmission is upside down.

with that engine and transmission combination, you are probably going to have to drill holes in the frame for the crossmember to line up correctly. the best thing to do would be to set the engine and transmission on the frame, and go from there.

You've asked a loaded question. It depends on many factors such as the motor mounts that you have and their location. The best way to figure it out is to:

1) place the tranny crossmember in the frame without any bolts.
2) With the transmission bolted to the motor, bolt the motor up to the motor mounts.
3) Slide the transmission crossmember to the position that will allow you to bolt it to the transmission.
4) Hopefully at this point you will be able to line up some holes in the frame. There's a good possibility that you will have to drill new holes......

Is that specific for a 700r? Mine is a tubular type and I can shoot a photo of it if you need it.
