Too Big
IF IT SAYS MY FILE IS TOO BIG HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT DOWNSIZING ITOR COULD SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW TO UP LOAD PICS TO THE SITE IF YOU HAVE TIME ...THANKS LUKE

I am not sure what you have for resizing pictures, but I use
"Camedia" and resizing is very easy on this program. I simply open file, click on image and options come up for changing the picture. One of the options is to change the pixal size and it has a down arrow and an up arrow. Arrowing down will reduce the pixal size and it works out to 378 x 276 pixals which will give you less than the 102400 limit. Submitting the picture is just a matter of following the steps on the "Browse" option. The web site has done a wonderful job setting up this feature and you should be able to make it work. Good luck! http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/english.htm this will take you to the d/l page and its free. you will have a icon on your desktop/open pic/go to image and resize there/then save to your hard drive. |

If you have Win2000 you should have MS Photo Editor. That is an easy way to resize pics.

You can also do it in paint. Just pull up the pic, go to stretch and skew and shrink the dimensions by 50% until its within the size limits. You just do that and then save it and post it. Jeff.

If you're trying to send a .bmp file from Paint, try to save the file as a .jpg They take less space. Whatever it is, try saving it as a different type of file.
