New From Arizona
I just bought a 1967 c20 long bed and a 1969 K20 long bed. The 67 is missing the front clip and power train and the 69 is missing the bed and an engine. So together i will have a complete 4x4 truck. So far i have stripped the 69 to the frame and I am in progress of boxing in the frame. It already has 33s on it but i plan on flipping the rear shackles and buying front springs to give it more of a lift. Im going to put a 383 stroker in her and it is backed by a 4 speed and 205. Both trucks have the eaton axle still in them so i am going to remove the 3rd member and axle shafts from the 67 for spares for the 69. As far as the 67 Have not decided what to do with it. The cab is in excellent shape. No rust on the floor or anything. Might turn it into a drag truck.
Im always open to suggestions on any ideas or what wont work or will. Look forward to getting to know the guys on this forum. Don Last edited by powerdriver 1958; 07-17-2009 at 11:01 PM. |

Re: New From Arizona
to the board from Mid-MO!!!
You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more. As far as selling parts, you must be a site supporter. For a mere $25 you will be helping support the best location for information, parts, and everything else in between. It will be the best $25 you will ever spend.

Re: New From Arizona
I like it here but in no way do I want to die here. A cooler place would be nice.
