Wheel opening moldings the same?

Are the RPO B96 wheel opening moldings the same (per side) for front and rear? In other words, can you put the same LH molding on either the left front fender or the left rear box side? They look pretty close.

Just wanted some input before I hold them up beside the truck and potentially scratch up my new paint!

Thanks,

K

Why are you asking us these things. You're supposed to be the go to guy on these trucks!

I'm just giving you a hard time. I'm not sure, I've never really looked that close at them. I would think the curvature towards the bottom may be different.

Re: Wheel opening moldings the same?

The front wheel opening is taller in height than the rear so they are not interchangeable .

He could tell her that all day long but it would be just hearsay to her . For her to believe it , it has to be her idea . I am in the same boat .

Re: Wheel opening moldings the same?

OK, still on topic...but slightly diff question.

Is the front wheel well trim the same for 73-80 and 81-87? I am pretty sure they are, but am curious to know what everyone else thinks.

Re: Wheel opening moldings the same?

w/o getting into the changed ones in 89(went smooth) there are SIW moldings.

73-80 LF
73-80 RF
81-87 LF
81-87 RF
73-87 LR
73-87 RR

also the 88 burb & blazer still used the older style.
