Everybody has a favorite sealent they like. I'm freshing up my figure 8 205 and was curious what you guys have had the best luck with.

Any sealing tricks or tips? I hate leaks!!!!!

First off prep is the key! clean the surface as best you can then use a solvent to get it even better.. like brake cleaner. I like permetex utra black high temp. Have been using it for a while with good luck. I hate that red rtv have neve been able to get it to seal for me.

Thats what I used. Do you put sealer on the detent bolts?
