1971 K10 Brake set up

OK, so I admittedly have a problem of over spending on things that I don't "really" need. What I want to do is upgrade my braking set up I have. I am currently involved with upgrading my axles from stock dana 44 front and 12 bolt rear, to a 1 ton set up out of a 1986 K30, dana 60 front/14 bolt rear. So here's my dilemma, the axles are coming with the 1 ton brakes included, and I am not impressed with my brakes as they are now (before the swap). I have read several website's information, and I have come down to 3 options

1: Don't change my master cylinder, the brakes really don't suck that bad, I just have to hope nobody pulls out in front of me, and I have to "plan" my stopping at stop lights and stuff....not the best option in my opinion.
2: Upgrade my Brake Booster and Master Cylinder, and hopefully this will upgrade the brakes significantly, to avoid problems mentioned above, for like $200 tops.
3: Completely upgrade my system to a hydraulic brake booster set up, and triple my braking all together, for like $800.....

any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated.

oh I forgot to mention that the 14 bolt comes with drum brakes, and I was thinking of upgrading them to a disc brake conversion anyways. Oh, AND I'm running 37" tires.....hence the sucky brakes

It's your life, get the best brakes money can buy. With that much weight and those large tires, nothing short of the best will suffice.

I am also trying to look into different ways of upgrading to hydraulic assist brakes, do you guys know if a Hydraulic Boost pump and a master cylinder will work from an 80's 3/4 or 1 ton?

Ok, so I have decided to purchase the mount from CaptainFab, and an Astrovan Hydro-assist Brake assembly to help with my crappy brake situation, do you guys have anything to offer with parts I might need in order to complete the install?? Thank you for any info you can provide
