Question WIW: Tilt steering column

Can some one give me an idea what a tilt column in a 70-80 van is worth? I was at the wrecking yard last night and they have a tilt steering column in a 70-80's van. It is still in the van and I would have to pull it. Also it's for an automatic but I have seen them changed over and the shifter hole filled in. Not a lot of standard transmission vans in Alaska in fact not a lot of vans from that time frame so beggers can't be choosy.

Thanks Lenard

I have seen/heard them sell for 30.00 - 50.00 at a junkyard. depending on the condition. They have sold on the board for 100.00 - 150.00

Re: WIW: Tilt steering column

I paid $ 110 for mine, removed & "on the floor" at the local salvage yard. Good uncracked driver-quality steering wheel, horn button & chrome on the turn signal & tilt levers. Did not need repaired for a removed shifter lever like yours sounds like it will.

Felt pretty glad to get it for that price .............
