Re: Placeholder for DFW Mini-Meet WTB/WTS

I'm looking for a nice solid rustfree(as much as possible) rolling chassis. I already have a motor, tranny, wheels and tires, interior, ect. I just need a solid truck to put it all into. Must be 1/2 ton 2WD. Can be long or short bed. Good title and #'s is a MUST!

Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm looking for a complete rustfree truck or truck body with no motor or transmission. If I find one with a motor that's fine but I have a fresh 540 and TH400 I plan on using. I just want something with MINIMAL rust and a straight bed floor.

BobVilla,
I may be interested in the grill. My Minnesota version leaves a little to be desired... Do you have any better pics of it?

What's the latest on when this is going to happen?

Still interested in the 72 blazer frame and bedside. I just left a message on your cellphone about meeting up to look at them.

Re: Placeholder for DFW Mini-Meet WTB/WTS

I have a few parts from my 71.
Bench seat in my opinion in good shape. Have pics if interested.
Grill in driver quality. 2 or 3 minor dings and the insert has the piece broken where most reach in to open hood latch.
Gas tank from behind seat as well as two spares that mounted in bed fenders behind cab.
3 vent windows
drivers and passenger windows.
a couple sets of gauge clusters. One with plastic bezel slightly broken. All working before removed.

I am looking for a air ride compressor, a pair of inner fenderwells from fleetside in good condition, tailgate without rust, front bed panel minimal dents, and bed mount gas tank preferably alluminum.

What color is the seat? Was the gas tank from behind the seat in use when removed or had it been sitting with gas?

What do you want for the green tailgate? I have a buddy who just picked up a truck & needs a tailgate.

Re: Placeholder for DFW Mini-Meet WTB/WTS

A few things I have to bring:
Tilt column
Tall tranny hump
Billet crank & water pump pulleys for a long water pump
Chrome upper alt bracket for long water pump
& more to be added later

I need a 72 only pass. door with no speaker hole or rust. Outer skin condition is not important.

Re: Placeholder for DFW Mini-Meet WTB/WTS

hello gentlemen, i have for grabs 2 extra sbc timing covers one with the "enlarged seal".. and a stock cam with low miles...\esed hood ninges.. r still in good condition.. i was just to lazy to clean up (you can HAVE THEM)
stock timing gear set.. (used, freebie)
basically i have extra parts u guys can have that i will bring...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
i could use a 8 boltx 15 in rim... just one.. so i can mount my extra tire as a spare...
it will be hard to clear the brakes with a 15 incher.. but i can really use it so im not scared of my lack of sparetire...

Re: Placeholder for DFW Mini-Meet WTB/WTS

I need a long stepside in decent rebuildable shape for a 70 GMC. I have a bench seat from a 70 GMC that is rought needs to be rebuilt but its free to anyone who wants it. Also could use a good 350 engine but will probably have mine rebuilt before the meet.
