One Inch Body Lift
I want to lift my 68 C10 2wd. Has anyone ever found or fabricated a one inch body lift for their truck? I know the Jeep guys have one inch body lifts and I figure I can buy the same one inch donuts they use but was wondering if anyone out there has ever done this. If so, what did you do to extend the steering shaft or was it not even necessary? Also, did you have to lower the fan shroud or drop the radiator at all? What about the automatic trans shifter linkage?

Re: One Inch Body Lift
I am interested in this info also. I have a '69 4X4 and want to give it a minimal body lift to releave some clearance issues but don't know if I will run into any problems. 1'' would be great.

What kind of clearance issues are you running into?

Re: One Inch Body Lift
I once read about someone stacking large 2 inch diameter flat washers until they were one inch thick and then somehow epoxing a metal tube inside of the holes to support it all and form one solid block. Sounds lame to me, but he claimed it worked. I will probably buy the one inch donuts from ("ORD") Off-Road Designs.
