For $20 it's not a bad kit at all. You got alot of overlays. Make sure you get the one for the heater controls, looks alot better than black.

I'm gonna be getting 2 more sets, one white and thinking of silver. Anybody get any other color? Pics?

and you can get different colors, its like 20 bucks more tho

also forgot to add, i dont really like the way the heater one is, the cover covers up the light behind it that comes one when the head lights are on, and you cant see it at night, but other then that they look badass, well worth the 20 bucks IMO

I agree. Although they do offer another one that allows more light transference than the standard one. I found these lights from v-leds.com and installed them on the dash bezel itself

How much light gets to the gauges without the led strips. Mine now is not that bright but maybe the white gauges would allow for more illumination...Can anyone post a pic with there lights turned on in a dark garage to see the white gauges illuminated??

Here is joe231's gauges that he just painted the housing, and cover for. That seemed to help a lot with lighting. So I would imagine using white faced gauges would help a little more. Here is a link to Joe's thread where he has pics of what he painted, and before and after shots.

When I did my tach/white face install, I checked to make sure all the bulbs worked, cleaned the inside of the housing and the back side of the cover (whatever you call it, the black thing) polished the clear cover and that was it. Was plenty bright at nite, would lite up the rest of the interior.

I had the heater control one too. Screwed up and put it under the clear cover, not on it, and didn't let hardly any lite thru. I need to get 2 more, I'll try right and see how it turns out.

Does anybody have any pics of the different color overlays? I'm thinking silver for my crew cab....

If you paint the inside of the cluster white and get led dash lights it helps a lot.

Even on my stock 84, I painted the cluster white, but left everything else the way it was. Replaced some bulbs, and at nite it's brighter than it was. Might look into the LEDs tho.

here's mine.......the only thing that I painted was the actual guage faces themselves,then stuck the overlays on,changed a couple of bulbs and everything was fine at night......I also didn't use the vender that you are looking at,another guy on ebay
