My 2 cents as a non-professional in the world of marketing.

When you have a "1 hour blitz," I assume your real interest is in making money with add-ons to the "loss leader" item. [If it's not, and you're really selling the item on its own merit, then I have to wonder why I would ever want to pay the "regular" price for it, knowing you're still profiting at half price.] If, however, you are using it as a loss leader, giving users an hour (in the middle of a workday, no less) doesn't really open up the opportunity very much. I know that I needn't bother watching for Monday's deal because I'll be in meetings all day... you could be selling $500 kits for $0.29 for all I know/care as I won't be able to participate.

True we do make our money from the upgrade and the addons, and we do take a small hit for selling the kits so cheap, But we have had an overwhelming response of people asking for our bolt on kits, so we figured we would help out our fellow working class by discounting our bolt in shaved door kits. As for the sales being during the middle of the day, I'm sorry you will miss out but we also send our sells out through text messages, so you could always give your name number and provider so that way you still have the opportunity to take advantage of the sales.
