Updated pics before I go.

Thought I post some updated pics since I did the engine swap before I head out to sea. Swapped in 350 crate engine with about 25K mi on it from a buddy of mine and a centerbolt Heads, Edelbrock carb 1806 and Edelbrock Intake 7516, new cam and springs, new timing chain, serp belt setup, magnaflow exhaust, new wiring from Rebel wiring, new poly cab and radiator mounts and electric fans from a 90's Windstar. Still have interior work to do but old pieces are in place with new paint to see how I like the way it looks. When I get back plan to new tires and wheels(prob stock rally's), replace the rusted out doors, fenders, hood and paint it. Then redo the interior with some 03 Chevy Silverado seats. Just got married and my father in law is good with fabricating so we'll see if we can get them in.

Looks good man.

Be careful on your deployment, and THANK YOU for your service. Be careful, and come back so we can see more work done to that truck!

Re: Updated pics before I go.

The steering wheel is a 88-94 wheel off the Silverado trucks. Some of the earlier 88+ base trucks had a different wheel.

Wow! Big improvement in the engine bay. Be carefull out there! You are all appreciated everyday in my life. THANK YOU! (I have a good friend who just got deployed to the sand with Army S.F.) You are all a blessing to those of us who stay home now.

I got that one out of a 94 Chevy Van. They are the same as what was in the trucks. Pick-Your-Part in Fresno has a 50% off special once a month, it cost me $15.

Re: Updated pics before I go.

Let me know if you need someone to drive it. Ya know our trucks don't like to sit still for long periods of time.

Nice work. Good luck with your deployment.

Have a bracket made for the upper radiator hose. You can see mine in this picture.

The bracket keeps the hose from bouncing up and down.

My wife told me that I better let her drive it or I will never get to drive hers She has an 05 2500HD Super Cab long bed.

I will look into the bracket when I get back. Thanks for the info.

They are Equus Gauges from Kragen. I got the oil, volt and water temp in a kit that was on closeout, the fuel gauge was $35 and still has the bounce and the speedo and tach were $50 or so each.

I am at the air terminal waiting for my flight so I can't upload any other pictures right now but the post below has more pics and info on what I did. When I get back I want to redo the wiring. I'm not happy with how it came out and know I can make it better.

I got the A/C lines to the compressor out of 94 4.3l Brevada. The other lines are stock or out of a 86 Burb. I think the hard line that runs on top of the fender well is the one from the Burb. The condenser behind the radiator is from an 89 1 ton. I still have to get the A/C working.

Here is a better picture.

The hose end has a saddle. The hose is tied down with a tie wrap.
