what i got done- C notch install, frame hole repairs

I promised pics of my own design C notch and the only way i can figure to share this w/o loading a dozen pics on here is to let you go to my photobucket.
http://s699.photobucket.com/albums/v...view=slideshow

THEN CLICK ON THE BLUE WORD 'TRUXGUY'

there are only 4 pics displayed, but there are ALBUMS listed to the left. look at the one that says FRAME REPAIR. the other albums are locked by me. there is also pics there of repairing the frame holes. This is the truck i am taking to Carlisle.
they May not be in order but you'll get the idea.
there are comments on most also.

I hate work computers! I want to see these but I can't because I don't have "flash". Can anybody post a couple in the thread for people like me?

OK , i knew these were coming so here's the answers.

The CAT- It's a nuclear waterhead,(came from the power plant i work at), but i love him. He's our garage buddy he just does not like to be woken up with a dipstick. Neither do I. If i had teeth I would show you too.

SIBS pic. I'm the short one. she's 4 years older and made most my childhood a living hell and he's 4 years younger and a Salem County freeholder now. . makes birthdays easy to remember. thanx mom.

The PINTO is a joke, but i love it too. I can fix almost anything on it with a pair of pliers that has one handle sharpened to be a screwdriver.

All my newer fab tools will soon be pink because I bought 4 cans of that paint and no one will want to borrow them and when i find them somewhere else i will KNOW they are mine.

i certainly don't mind the link.

Like i said before If i could figure out how??? i would arrange them in order.

The Used trans that is in it does shift, but is weak. It will stay in until after Carlisle minimum because It will have a 4/S on it there.
if i still own it after Carlisle then I'll consider it. I am even trying to get a radio in it. The ugly bezel issue is getting old.

I will add a pic of the custom cluster i just made and before anyone asks it's strictly a One off. The guy who helped me make the tach is not around anymore. If anyone knows how to make a background like that we can talk. the temp gauge with numbers is from a C60 along with the 80 PSI gauge. I rewired the whole connector to match the 76-77 and didn't record what i did. almost every wire had to be changed. the truck now has a working fuel gauge for the first time in 7 years.

Re: what i got done- C notch install, frame hole repairs

good idea on the pink tools. Nice job, the notch and frame repair look really nice. You've got to love the previous owners hack job, that was just reckless and dangerous on his part.
