dashboard clock

There is a clock on my dashboard by the gauges. It was there when I got the truck from the previous owner. Is it original to the truck?

Re: dashboard clock

nope, not original. that space is taken up by either a blank space, an air gauge, or a vacuum gauge.

actually, it was blank in all 10 - 30 trucks. The guages were only in the C-40 and bigger trucks

Re: dashboard clock

yep what Andy said.

always blank on the 10 thru 30's. the 40 thru 60's had vac or air depending on braking systems or accessories. (I think).

Re: dashboard clock

even some of the 40 series and up were blank. the vac guage was just an option on the hydraulic brake trucks... air pressure was required with air brakes.
