Project Blue Suede shoes - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Well I guess its my turn to make a build thread for my 1987 Chevy Silverado.
Currently the truck is a old faded rusted dark/light blue. The goal is satin blue, bags, smoothies with dog dish caps and some white walls.

Here is the inspiration,

But to get started with the body work I needed to pull a bad dent out of the pass door.

I thought my bro-in-law took some more pics but I guess not. I will take some more pics soon

That S-10 is sharp. Your 87 will look sweet done that way. Can't wait to see more pics.

ya I am hoping it will look good....I've been trying to find the owner of the S-10 but I do know the color has been changed to a satin green with more body mods.....

I'll have some more update and pictures as I am gonna get back to working on it today...

Wow I completely forgot that I hard started this thread. Well as of 09/27/09 We have all the metal work done and the truck is in primer. I've also had time to get some paint on the jambs and under the hood. Now its gonna be time to block sand the primer, less talk and on to the pictures.

p.s. sorry for the darker pics

OK well heres an up date:
i worked the last 3 days off and on to get the tail gate and hood in color.
Here are the pics.

I still need to get to work on the rest of the truck
