dual fuel tanks
just wondering has any one added a second tank to there truck? i have my 74 c10/k10 conversion i am working on and thought i might pull the fuel tank from the 78 donor truck and install on the driver side of the 74. i have seen a few options of a selector valve from napa one with out return lines and one with. i am running a mechanical pump and carb.
what ya think? any one with experience on this?

My dad had thought about doing a second tank on my '74 K20 years before I got it from him. His plan was to use an electric fuel pump but he never go past the scheming stage.

Run it like the factory, just get the tank and sending unit and wire in the switching valve, The pump will pull it out just like the other side.

i bought my tanks new from advanced go into the store and use their online price and get it for that price.. the fuel selector valve is available from autozone for $55 and the switch is available at advanced for $12 the valve is the #2 one on their site

thanks guys it seems fairly strait forward. i looked and seen a few different valve set ups i will keep looking and see if i can get one to work.
