my dream truck found k2500

I went to Nebraska and bought this truck a couple of weeks ago. I have been looking for a 3/4 ton 4x4 for a while. This one has factory tach, wood bed, and all there. Was restored 15 yrs. ago by a GM dealer with NOS bed wood, trim, and interior pieces at that time. Cab is basically rust free except for passenger rocker. Should be a real good start for a restoration. I look forward to enjoying this truck for a long time.

Wow...what a great find! My favorite color combination, Bronze with Saddle interior..K20, tach dash, and it's a GMC also. I'm jealous...I can see why it's your dream truck.

Re: my dream truck found k2500

Congratulations on finding such a nice`72 Sierra K2500.It`s about the same as mine, other than the color.I like yours better.I have a saddle interior planned for mine. Not sure on the color.
It looks like when they restored it they changed the dash bezel and painted the glovebox door. They should be saddle.

Re: my dream truck found k2500

Since joining this group in February of 2000 I've never posted a reply to say 'nice truck'. I've seen hundreds if not thousands of nice trucks posted but always figured everybody attempting to get their post count up or something had it covered.

Most of us can only dream of starting with something in that good of shape.

That is one nice truck.
