Talking 3 3/4 inchs!!!



my headers are 3 3/4" from the ground

my lower control arms are only 4.5" from the ground!



I GOT RIPPED OFF!!! i wanted my frame to be atleast 3" from the ground!!!:p

haha, when i put on my 255/60's the headers will be only a little bit over 3" from the ground

HAHA....Eric...My headers were less than 2 inches off the ground at the flange when I had my full lengths!!

Oh, Eric, I forgot to add earlier, my lower control arm is 4" off the ground, so as my tires show, which are 27", compared to your 28", will be 1/2" less. So, no the front of your truck is not lower, but the rear is.

hmm... well i guess thats the reason why i'm riding the bump stops so bad in the back:p

my collectors are like 2" off the ground on my 78. The engine crossmember is about 2.5"
No big deal!

Yea, just wait till you damage the A-arm. You'll change your mind. I damage one of my truck's arm-s but it's getting replaced.

i'll be replacing this one too. my control arms are 2 - 7/8 inches off the ground, but if chris will make me a cross member i should gain over an inch of clearence

eric the new tires will only lower you .5 of an inch, so you will be cool. they are 1 inch shorter than your current ones, but since that is diameter, not radius, it will only move you half of that.

actualy its quite bad. the pic is taken from straight on, if it were takin from a side angle you would see that the whole leading edge of the control arm is bent in about an inch. and also the lip on the front side is cracked up near the cross shaft
