Ok so a friend of mine who owns a really nice 1972 long box 4x4 and owns a shop wanted me to come up with a couple ideas for grill gaurds and he would than be making a couple of them.
He liked these ideas so well he decided to make all of them and start selling them from his shop.
I told him some input from you good folks might help him widdle down which ones to focus more on.
So please post which ones you like the most and any ideas you may have to better them or new ideas all together.

They are all designed to bolt in place of the bumbper and then bumper over them which does push the front bumper out 2 1/2 inch's.

Depends on which year truck it's going on. Grill designed are different from 67-68, 69-70 and 71-71 and GMC is different, too. I just bought a used one custom made for a 73 4x4 truck and will retrofit to my 68 C10 and it lokes similar to #2 above. #2 is likely the one most would want.

I don`t care for anything that covers the ggod looks of any of these trucks.If you must run a guard,why not an open one?

Agreed. It's another story if you absolutely need a guard though. Grills are too expensive.
