How glass packs work

What is the sound difference in the longer vs the shorter ones?

Re: How glass packs work

I can't give you any tech feedback but the longer the length will give you a more "mellow" tone. I had a 83 with a 305 and 30" long glasspacks and it was pretty quite. I just put a set of 18" long 2 1/2" dia. glasspacks on my 77 with a 454 and they are too loud, I'm sure it's my age...my kids and their friends love it.
