Cool quick question

I have a poterbuilt drop member and I am looking at buying spindles 3". what is the difference between the 1" and 1.25" other than thickness. what is stock? and why have 2 options? BTW these are bell tech spindles. I do want the 5 lug conversion and from what I can tell its the 73+ spindles that I am looking for is this correct?

Re: quick question

From what I understand the 1.25" rotors were put on the HD trucks (Heavy Halfs), Suburbans and Blazers from 73-87. And yes, it is the rotor thickness. The only other thing that might be different is the size of the bearings. I would suggest posting the same question on the 73-87 forum. Also, you might look at autozone.com to see if the bearing have different part numbers.

Question Re: quick question

Ok HD got it... but is there any differences between the two spindles other than the fact that one uses 1" and the other uses 1.25, I know the bearings are different but anything else I might need to know since im bagging the front? I think I would prefer to use the larger rotors but dont want to run into issues
