95-99 dash in mid 80's truck

OK....I have seen pictures here and there of these newer dashes. However I cannot find any info on how to do it or how they did it. Pictures the process, the measuring. What to cut out. I am wanting to do this simply because I am installing a vortec setup and really don't feel like messing with the old interior harness and getting it to work on the newer engine when I can have a newer dash that I like and just have it plug right in. Any help with this would be appreciated. And I will take pics and document what I did the whole time.
