Project: Trike

Okay, I know this isn't a truck but this is a little thing I bought today. I went out to Cookeville with my friend Brian, the manager of the Kroger, who let's us have the cruise-in in his parking lot. He was looking at a 63 Ford Fairlane Gasser/Straight Axle. He bought it but as we were loading some of the extra parts he got with it I noticed that the seller had a few scooter's in the corner of his garage.

This thing is pretty cool. He had a BRAND NEW 5.5 hp Briggs and Stratton Intex motor. I mean BRAND NEW!!!!!! Still has the $199.99 sticker on the side and it's never had any gas or oil in it. He gave me a bunch of bearings and a chain to go with it. I need to clean up some of the welds and weld on it a little more. Also not sure how to mock up a throttle for it but I'm sure it won't be hard. The motor isn't bolted down yet, but I did mock it up a little. I think I'm going to paint it Flat Red

Re: Project: Trike

My stash is in 2 liters... A lady saw me at Walmart with a pile of pop and then later at Kroger with a pile of Ginger Ale. She laughed and asked if Walmart was all out of Ginger Ale? Yes. It was. Well at least I'm not alone.
