Hi my names ismael and i drive an 86 c10. And my truck vibrates when hit speeds above 60, I got it balanced and that didnt seem to help.

What do you think is the problem?

we need more info... motor trans? could be a driveshaft or carrier bearing tires rotor or drum even a u joint

what did you get ballanced ? your tires? or the driveshaft?... if you have ballansed the tires, the driveshaft would be the next thing id look at. is it lowered or lifted? if it is you might have a driveshaft angle that is wrong, that can cause vibrations. give us some more info.

Tires, the truck has lowering shackles

You need to see if you can start separating different systems out, so you know what it is not...

For example, park the truck so that it is not moving. Rev the engine in neutral to the same RPM as you normally get the vibration and see if it is still there. If it is not, then you know it is not caused by anything engine related (flywheel, harmonic balancer, engine miss, etc).

Similarly, drive the truck so it is vibrating. Tip into the throttle a little and/or let off the throttle a little bit. Does the vibration change? If it does, typically that would indicate a driveline problem (driveshaft balance or u joint angles).

Does the vibration keep getting worse the faster you go? Normally that would be a tire problem. Does it get better if you go faster than 60 mph? Again, that usually indicates a driveline problem.

If you can swap tire/wheels from another vehicle that can also provide clues.

You need to play around a bit and report back your findings.
