Re: 250 headers

I'm going with a set from Langdon's Stovebolt myself.

Good looking, cast iron and it looks like about 100 bucks less than the others.

Re: 250 headers

I've got a used set of Hedman headers. I'll let em go for $50 if you want them. I ran them about a year on my truck before I swapped for the V8.

Re: 250 headers

"Cheap" and "six cylinder performance parts" don't often go together. Here's my Clifford headers.

Red face Re: 250 headers

Jegs has these Flowtech headers for sale for $119.99

http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowtech/387/11500/10002/-1

This is what I have but have not had a chance to install it as my truck is still in the body shop.

Good luck!

Re: 250 headers

Here's a set from Jegs that are right for the engine. Now that doesn't mean they will miss the clutch and other stuff. You should be able to call Jegs and ask.

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...=MkMdlYrSearch

And remember "Shaky" is right.6 Cyl stuff usually cost's twice as much money for half the performance gain.

Re: 250 headers

Best thing for a 6 cyl. Is a 292 manifold with 2 1/2" outlet.

Re: 250 headers

My late model 292 has the big 3 bolt flange manifold. I don't know the vehicle of origin, but I assume it came from a junkyard off of a stock truck, late 70s early 80, it has an electric choke.
