Louisville KY STREET ROD NATIONALS
Anyone coming to the big show?? Starts Thursday. I'll be setting up Wednesday. Look for the small trailer with the GMC TRUCKS flag flying. I'll be the fat guy asleep in the chair with the empty beer cans crushed around me. Crushing accomplishes two things---good for the environment and works like an alarm system so someone can't sneak up on me ---ARGGGHH!
Might be a lit cigar around there someplace as well. The hum you hear will be the generator keeping the beer cold and the fan running. Some say I have the fan for cooling---some say it's for other reasons---you decide. Will have some truck parts (tachs, tilts, seatcovers, radio's, etc.). Last year there was this young lady in a string bikini who's boyfriend was nice enough to bring a small pool and fill it with water so she could set up her beach chair and get a cool tan. While she kept cool, I needed hourly drinks to control my overheating potential. Many a boy tripped over parts while enjoying the wonderful views. Hummmmmm So, if you got the rod cranked up and plan on coming, shoot me a pm and I'll try to remember to bring a couple of extra brews----Huck |

Re: Louisville KY STREET ROD NATIONALS
I will be there unless something comes up that I don't forsee. I be staying at the RR by the airport. I went last year and it was a blast. I'll be there Thursday and Friday.

Re: Louisville KY STREET ROD NATIONALS
Well my plans got changed so I can't go...but...I just saw on the news Louisvile has just got over 6" of rain in less than an hour. The town is flooded. Another storm cell is heading towards Louisville. This could get interesting.

Re: Louisville KY STREET ROD NATIONALS
I will be there Friday or Saturday. It won't be the first time the nationals were flooded in Louisville!
