Re: Anyone need a 5.3 Vortec

If one of you does swing by, see if he has any 6.0's. $350 is a heck of a deal for a running 5.3!

Re: Anyone need a 5.3 Vortec

I'd be interested in knowing about these as well. If anyone's going from that area to Florida let me know and maybe we can possibly work something out!

Re: Anyone need a 5.3 Vortec

I just got off the phone with this guy. He said the deal is legit, but he only has 2 left and they don't have the complete harness. Claims he will be getting more in some time in the future. You local guys have an advantage on us. That is pretty cheap. Cheaper than any 5.7 around here.

Re: Anyone need a 5.3 Vortec

Kev,
He said he buys them from a major operation that turns their unsold inventory every so often. Apparently, these engines are very reliable and there isn't much of a demand for them on the original replacement market(yet). After I saw this I called a local gm yard...they get $2500 for a complete engide with harness and accessaries! This was a good deal!
