Aftermarket fuel filler in the bed floor

Those that have done this mod.

How did you keep the filler above the filler opening for the gas tank?? I've been searching for hours. I saw mudder's thread but his truck has a body lift. I'm trying to figure out how I can make the 90° turn under the bed floor and get to the tank opening and not have the fuel filler line be going "uphill"

All of the 1-1/2" pipe i've found doesn't make a tight 90 turn. It's got a bigger radius. What can I use?

Here's a picture of the tank kind of mocked in the frame rail. You can see the filler on the left side just below the two vent openings

Re: Aftermarket fuel filler in the bed floor

I have seen ppl have the pipe custom bent at a muffler/fab shop. ?You should be able to search for blazer tank etc, and get a plethora of info.
