newibe from ohio with 72 2wd blazer
Ok so I am new to the site and just thought I would take a second to introduce myself and tell you all about my project. I recently aquired a original 2wd 72 chevy blazer. Truck need a total restoration but body is solid and not rusty. I am planning to put a 350 in it with a mild cam, prehaps headers and a gear drive. The plan right now is to lower the truck to a yet to be determined level( no major cutting) and put 17" rims on it. It should be painted red with black inteior which will be custom. Will appriciate any advice on both engine and suspension as I am currently working on both of those stages!

Re: newibe from ohio with 72 2wd blazer
yeah tell me about it. i am putting a nose on it from a 68 so that will eliminate alot of the cosmetic as far as the front goes. frame and body tub are solid so no worries there. interior is non existant tho. guess its time to fab up a custom one.

If it's got a good frame and tub you're well ahead of the game.
