My 78 k10 restoration
Hey guys i thought i would start a build thread i have had this 78 for about 2 years and been doing things to it ever sence it has a 80s 350 that i am changing to a bored out 383 to a 70s 350. rust has almost just about took this truck over the body was in pretty good shape besides the fenders and the passengers door the rockers was not bad when i got it but now sence the weather it has got worse the same goes for the floor, cab corners, the dash was not good so i took it out and scraped it and also the bed was scraped becuase of it being a 80s bed anyway i am now working on the floor because of rust and as some of you know becuase of the hump i will be cutting it out and fixing it and cleaning up the rust and painting and soon taking off the cab off so i can get to the frame and tear down

Re: My 78 k10 restoration
ok well this post and project has been over for sometime but have not got a chance to explain back in the winter my project was not going any where and money was hard so i looked at the one thing that i was not using at the time and the olny thing i had to get some cash and first things first all I had was a frame, a cab, and 2 axles so there was not much there for a project, but I know a lot of people start from scratch. Anyway, since my block was cracked it just pee'd me off more than ever so that put me down on my project some. and then come needing some cash, so I took all the metal around my house and scrapped it and things got worse so I scrapped the axels and what ever else I could find. I just sold some parts to a good friend of mine, that helped me out alot! but since I am out of the hole now, I am trying to find me a 67-72, going for a new body style. I will have another 73-87, just right now I am looking in to another body style because of my project.
thank
