The new truck is at the shop...

I towed it like this for over 70 miles. A friend of mine sat in the truck as I towed it. It all went smoothly.

I looked at the mirrors yesterday thinking I could sell them on e bay and as I was looking at them they have Ford Branded on them at the bottom. I guess they are not west coast GM mirrors. Maybe a Ford guy will want them.

I forgot to mention. I had to take two of the bumper bolts off to get the brackets for the tow bar on. I was just not wanting to do this as many of you know they are always rusted on. This truck has such little rust that all I had to do was loosen the nut and it spun right off with my fingers.

I have an 88 350 with TBI set up that I am going to put in. I think am going to run dual cats for smog with a heated O2 sensor. I think it is going to be my daily driver/work truck. Also going to swap out the 3/4 axles for 1/2 ton for drivabilty.
