Thumbs down

The fuel doors, chrome visor and diamond plate flaps don't score many points with me...some of it will get removed.

Hey! I resemble that! LOL! I went with the red on top when I painted mine though. What engine, etc. do you have?

Barn9:

Thanks. I have seen your posts and noticed your truck...very nice. Mine is a small block all original with about 132k. From what I can tell it has only been through 4-5 owners including myself.

Ihave had two 72's with big blocks and a 67 short fleet lowered with a 383...I think when the time comes (which is probably shortly) I will rebuild whats there and warm it up a bit...I really thought about a 427 small block LS1 but this truck is in too good original condition to do that too. Plus have this Chevelle to dump my go fast money in.

I really like your truck...how much did you lower it?

Hey Brent,

I enjoyed meeting you last night. I really appreciated you getting those parts for me....I think they will help alot. As we briefly spoke, I would really like to get some of the puget sound members together somewhere once in a while so we can at least meet. In the summer I normally head down to the XXX Root Beer place here in Issaquah...I am up for any suggestions.

and thanks again. Let me know when I can return the favor!

I agree. The "XXX" (it is a rootbeer stand for those who don't know and have minds that wander!) is a great place to meet. There is a calendar of events that is printed every year and they usually distribute these at the "XXX". I will try and pick one up and then let's pick some dates when they have car shows there as well. We don't have to show our trucks officially but it would be a nice side event.

Sweet Cheyenne, and I might add, SWEET CHEVELLE! I'm searching for a 70 Chevelle project myself.

Thanks for the compliments...

Brent, good idea...I will probably stop by weekend after next if you don't beat me to it. We don't have to show our trucks but there is a cruise saturday evening in the summer at about 6 every weekend when the weather is good.

Thanks miket! Nice toy lineup you have there! My truck is lowered 3" in the rear with a lowering block kit. It was well worth $19.95 to get the butt out of the air, he-hee! Afraid I have to agree with the others about losing the visor and mudflaps. Keep us posted about your progress, and you are definately in the right spot to get any questions answered. Cya, LB.

Sure wish what was in my garage looked like yours, instead of a ping pong table and the homegym and treadmill that have accumulated more rust from nonuse than any truck I have ever seen on this board!!!!

Justin,

Thanks, there probably won't be a Harley in my future...the only one I would buy would be (of course) a VROD and I don't have 20K....however I owned a Yamaha VMAX and will probably get another one this summer.
