My 72 had a wood bed in it, but I'm in the process of fixing that. As I'm sure you know, the wood doesn't stand up well to the AZ sun.... especially when the truck doesn't get it's own spot in the garage.

they were avalible in fleetsides tilll the 80's, and in stepsides that was the only way you could get one untill 1988
