Diamond Apc Style Headlights
Has anyone ever used those new APC diamond style headlights that companies such as APC sells. I have a 4 headlight GMC and wanted to install a set of those on my truck but wanted some opinions first ! Thanks!!

I just did the conversion tonight in a Jeep Cherokee. Same bulbs tho. I used the Bosch conversion kit, its got glass fronts/chrome plated housing. The back is even enamel coated with rubber boots that have drains in them. Its actually a really nice kit. Here in Canada it sells for $80, so probably about $50 USD. But the bosch h4 bulbs are included too.
Once I had one side done, I compared them, what a HUGE difference! The APC ones which I have also installed before, look cool too, but some kits require notching out the metal housing behind the bulbs for the secondary accent or "city light" wiring harness. Also most kits don't come with bulbs.

APC = Ricer junk.
Hella or Bosch all the way. I run Hella's in my car...Awsome lights. Mine are the slightly illegal varaity that come with a nice sticker on the front that says' "NOT DOT APPROVED> OFF ROAD USE ONLY" They are European spec lights for left hand drive. $80 or so. Can't seem to get the Bosch here in GA but Hella USA is also bassed in GA.

Hella always make me think of VW. I would like to do a conversion, but my problem is every once in awhile I get a chip in the glass on my headlights. That would really piss me off if they costed more then they do now. The last time I got new lights I bought the Sylvania ones that said brighter light. They did have brighter light too. Probly not as much as these, but good enough and not as much money. I realy like the look of the diamond headlights. I like all the cuts in the reflecter and the design on the glass.
