DJM Flip Kit Question

The $85 Djm flip kit on summit's web site says that it doesn't have shock extensions included but they're clearly in the pic. can anyone please clarify if they're in the kit for me? Thank you.

I also used that kit the first time my truck was lowered. I got shock extenders with the kit. In the front I used 2.5 " lowered spindles and a round cut from the coil springs, that netted about a 5" drop.

Re: DJM Flip Kit Question

454, did you have to drill a hole for the new bump stops?

Re: DJM Flip Kit Question

I was going to use these off of ebay, but they dont inlcude any hardware or shock extenders....

For the $90 the DJM seems like a good bang for the buck...Plus it includes all the parts you need.

Re: DJM Flip Kit Question

If you have a welder save $50-60 and weld on some new spring perches. If you plan on going to the track and have some decent torque then you may possibly rip the existing perches off and screw up your driveshaft.
I did this a few years ago, sucked getting towed home from the track.

I have not bothered to install them. But yes, drilling a hole would be required.

Re: DJM Flip Kit Question

If I recall correctly, you do not have to drill for new bumpstop, take old one out, put new one in same hole.
I have that djm kit, did not use shock extenders, they fit like crapola anyway. Get some drop shocks.
