Need Opinions

I finally got my '67 on the road. The PO had lowered it with drop spindles in the front and leafs in the back with a c-notch. In the first couple hundred miles I found that the front tires were rubbing on the inner fender wells. To fix this I put smaller rubber on the front and the tires don't rub any more. Now though my headers rub the ground whenever I go over a hump in the road. The headers are the long hooker headers that go lower that the frame. In your opinions is it better to bag the front, change the headers or both?

Re: Need Opinions

I would also say change the headers as it would be alot cheaper but if money is no object then do both.

Re: Need Opinions

Change the headers to mid length, block huggers or manifolds.

Re: Need Opinions

Thanks for the replies. I read a thread on here about a set of chrome headers that you can get off Ebay item#110419636740. Will these work, my truck has a late 60's 350ci with camel hump heads? I am pretty new to customizing so any help is appreciated.
