Aftermarket in-dash Tach's

I know that this topic has been beat to death, but I got to know.
I recently bought the white face decals and am very happy with them,
but the empty Tach hole hurts!!!!
What size and style aftermarket Tach's have you guys used and how well did they fit??

I want a white face and have been looking at the Autometers on E-bay, all of which look real nice.
I have a non-tach cluster and will have to cutout the hole where the tach goes to do it.

I was just hoping to tap into some braincells out there for advice before I start hacking!!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Try using the search function guys, this has been discussed in the past a lot. Hopefully one of these days we will figure out a way to catagorize some of these popular upgrades, etc., into a spot where they will be handy to access.

Marine Tachs

Teleflex has many tachs in various designs for marine usage...
designed for heavy duty, shock and moisture resistance....etc.
I installed a marine 0-6000 as per illustration

am sure Teleflex makes this tach with a white face....they have many designs....Most any Boat dealer will carry the line of Teleflex instruments....and be sure to ask to look at a Teleflex catalog as is impossible for most dealers to stock all the models..
..also do a web search for 'teleflex'.... will bring you to their web site and you can view their entire line of instruments......

Summit has some pretty sweet 3 3/8" white gauges for about $49.95 part # SUM-G2903 (black bezel) and SUM-G2904 (chrome bezel) and the illumination can change colors from red, blue, turquoise, green, yellow, purple and white. Sweeeet eh!!!
